When you purchase a brand-new pair of skates, they often come unsharpened, lacking both edges and a groove. At mySKATE, we offer complimentary sharpening for all skates purchased through us, however if you’ve bought blades elsewhere, they may arrive with a flat, square edge that requires sharpening before the skates can be used. We call this a square blade sharpen.
